Join In: Help Us Show That Vermont is #ProSnow
Vermont’s winters are in jeopardy. Unless we act soon to combat global warming, the beautiful snow that so many Vermonters love and rely on may be a thing of a past.
Energy Independent Vermont is working hard to pass legislation that would make Vermont the first state in the nation to put a price on carbon pollution. On Saturday, February 21 we’re holding a “Pro Snow” day of action to raise awareness about this campaign and encourage other activists to join this fight.
Here’s how you can take part:
- Like the Energy Independent Vermont Facebook page or follow us on Instagram
- On Saturday, February 21 go out and enjoy the snow – or attend a #ProSnowVT event in your area (look at the list of events below and check back for updates)
- Take a photo of you, your friends, family in the snow. Be creative!
- Post the photo to Facebook and other social media and be sure to:
- Use the hashtag #ProSnowVT
- Tag the Energy Independent Vermont Facebook page
- Include this link to our Pro Snow petition: https://www.energyindependentvt.org/ProSnowPetition
That’s all it takes! Use the sample post on the right as a reference.
